RWBY has been viewed as a show that introduces fresh air into the anime world. The third season of RWBY, which can be purchased here, raise question as 4 different academies are gathered to celebrate peace between them through a tournament. It has been determined by the leaders and there inner circle that there is a traitor among them. There are many suspects of who the traitor can be but only three come to mind: General Ironwood, Qrow Branwen and Winter Schnee.

General Ironwood:

General Ironwood is suspected of being a traitor for a variety of reasons. Throughout the series he has trust issues with Ozpin and directly challenges his decisions. Furthermore, the General Ironwood has military troops patrolling the skies and the ground showing the enemy the exact strength that he has. As a result it raises people’s fear, which is the objective of the enemy, and it will attract the Grimm creatures. Ironwood has been very secretive of his military weapons, in particular of Penny, who is a high-grade robotic girl with super abilities that can be utilized in combat. Finally, towards the end of episode 3 of volume 3 the General’s picture comes up as Cinder is thanking the traitor for the new access point to hack into the tournament.

Qrow Branwen:

Qrow Branwen is suspected of being a traitor. Qrow’s background immediately raises questions about where his allegiance lies. Qrow is referenced as “Uncle” by Ruby and Yang and he is related to Raven Branwen. This is the same Raven who saved Yang from being killed at the end of Volume 2. As a result of Raven’s actions it forms a natural stigma against Qrow. Furthermore, Qrow’s mission was to infiltrate and gather intelligence on the enemy and the possibility exists that he could have been compromised or passed along information that would enable Cinder to hack the system.

Winter Schnee:

Not much is known about Winter Schnee but she is also considered to be a traitor. Winter is a fast wielding sword type fighter who utilizes speed and precision in her fighting style. Combine this skill with the ability that her family runs a major dust company she has influence and access to information where dust and other related items will be. Furthermore, she has the funds and influence to obtain information and pass along it to Cinder. Qrow along with General Ironwood do not feel comfortable around her to disclose information indicates that she is hiding something and poses a threat to the safety of citizens.
