WrestleMania 32 is shaping up to be the grandest stage of them all. This year’s WrestleMania features many matches, yet 3 stand out from the rest. The first is Roman Reigns facing Triple H for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. This match will be followed by Dean Ambrose facing, the beast, Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Street Fight. Finally the returning Shane McMahon will face The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match and if Shane wins he controls Monday Night Raw. These three matches each carry different consequences as they determine who is the face of the company, what is the status of wrestlers, and who controls Monday Night Raw. These three matches raise the stakes at WrestleMania, which can be purchased here, and these 6 wrestlers risk it all for a WrestleMania moment.
Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar No Holds Bar Street Fight:
Both Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose have been doing a great job as wrestlers and gaining the crowd’s support in the past few months. As a result the two of them facing each other in this match will steal WrestleMania. There are many reasons for this, because their styles are very different. Ambrose has a looser, theatrical, high-risk move set while Lesnar utilizes a power style of wrestling. These two styles of wrestling are on opposite sides of the spectrum, which will allow fans to see how each wrestler reacts to the other. Furthermore, this match will show which style is more adaptable leading to that wrestler picking up the victory. The other component to this match is how extreme it can be as it is a No Holds Bar Street Fight where weapons are allowed. Being that Ambrose has appeared in many different matches with stipulations and has made those matches memorable, it is implied that he will do the same in this match. Furthermore, the introduction of weapons acts as an equalizer for Ambrose, allowing him to counter Lesnar’s power style of wrestling. This will make the match harder to predict who the winner will be. But one thing is certain, Ambrose vs. Lesnar will involve high risk moves, chair shots, suplexes and mostly likely blood from one or both wrestlers, leaving the crowd cheering for more.
Roman Reigns vs. Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
For the past 6 months WWE has been building this storyline as Roman Reigns has been feuding with the authority. Unfortunately plans changed due to Seth Rollins relinquishing the title. This resulted in Roman Reigns winning and re-winning the title. Now to rekindle the feud Triple H won the title at the Royal Rumble setting up a match between the two at WrestleMania. Much to the crowds displeasure Roman Reigns vs. Triple H it is the best possible match for the championship. Triple H’s talent contract is rumored to be up meaning that he will not be on television for a while, as he is needed backstage, maintaining his brand name. Having him face Roman Reigns and putting Reigns over establishes Reigns for the new championship. Triple H is suppose to be the heel in this match but will most likely be cheered due to NXT, which is perfect as Roman Reigns has to turn heel and it will be easier if the crowd is already booing him. This match will not be a great technical wrestling match as both are power style wrestlers. Rather the match will be focusing on the story of Roman Reigns’ quest to obtain the championship and destroy the authority. This match will end the authorities grip on the championship and will open new competitors to Roman Reigns, especially if he turns heel.
Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell Match:
This match has left fans truly on the fence of who they want to win. This is due to the circumstances surrounding this match. In particular if Shane wins he has control of Monday Night Raw. Given the circumstances we, as fans, both win and lose at the same time. We win because we get to see two great wrestlers go at in what looks like one hell (pun intended) of a match. Yet, we lose as somebody has to get pinned either resulting in The Undertaker losing at WrestleMania or Shane losing. If The Undertaker loses at WrestleMania many fans will feel that they were cheated out of a good match. Conversely, if Shane loses the authority will still be in power and his reign of shaking up Monday Night Raw will come to an end prematurely, which does not fare well for the WWE Universe. As a result 50% of the fans will not be happy with the outcome of this match, as somebody has to lose. Now this match has a polarizing effect due to the 2 wrestlers involved, which is a major selling point for WrestleMania, as people will purchase the PPV and the Network just to see the outcome. Shane vs. The Undertaker will make some people unhappy with the end result but it will help to sell WrestleMania.
